Just a simple guy. I only contribute music to newgrounds since I have no visual artistic talents whatsoever. My influences come mostly from Vangelis, George Winston, and a heavy dose of electronica and new age.

New Submission....and a new home

Posted by Reasoner - September 2nd, 2009

I know...I know.....it's been a while. Moving coupled with trying to find employment in the highest unemployment rated state in the country makes writing music seem lifeless. Thankfully, the month and a half of stressful, unemployed worries is over, and I can now get back to a routine that I had in Tennessee. Today starts things off with a bang. Living Transparent has made it to the weekly top five, and I'm almost finished with another song I started as well.

A couple months ago before I moved, I signed a contract with a french game developer to provide the background music to a rather addictive iPhone game called "Moonlights". It's a puzzle game that involves you tapping the screen to build towers and reach the goal towards the top. It's gotten spectacular reviews on iTunes, and uses my song Instrumental #4 as the background music for your endeavors. If you own an iPhone or iPod touch...then you should definitely check it out. It's extremely cheap and gives you hours of entertainment. Here's a video showcasing it.

I get dozens of requests a week asking me to provide sheet music or MIDI files for my music. I regretfully do not give out the MIDI files for copyright reasons, and unfortunately I have no plans right now to convert anything to sheet music. Please do not PM me for these requests, as I will more then likely not respond to them. Thanks guys.

Simply amazing that throughout this entire moving process and trying to find a job you still manage to give us newgrounders a beautiful piano piece to melt over. For this i give you many kudos and wish you the best of luck in your new home and your new job. Keep making music that we all love ~Ryu

Great to hear that you're back on the scene again. Any new news on the album?

Awesome :D

Physics games are amazing. They really do give you hours of entertianment.

dear skies, but you're absurdly talented. I'm currently working with a pianist on an original song with my vocals, but I didn't dare bother you, although my ultimate hope would have been to work with you on a piano/vocal track. Hope life straightens out & congrats on the iPhone app!

your music is just Crazy cakes.

~ keep going! your amazing!! ^__^

how do you remix a song if you don't have a midi for it's melody? well what ever. I guess I don't have to remix living transparent. but I don't good skills at liking sounds to notes. :(

God bless you

I always listen to ur music when i make homework! It's so clean and refreshing, and on the same time relaxing.

Make HelthRMX happy :)!

Ahh ok, fine with the no sheet music, ill try to figure it out by ear and get some freinds to help.

but i can play it without sheet or midi, i just play it by ear. May i post it on youtube with your copyrights?

Sure I dont mind

Thx for this great song Reasoner, a lot of good has been said about the song on the game reviews!

Man you are a good audio artist, one of my favorite on Newgrounds.

Where did you get the idea/starting part of the music in Living? I've heard it before, and yours is so much better

Now thats relocating... jeeze, i thought moving from Fla to Ohio was a long arse move but from Tennesse to Cali... You my freind are a trooper.

Grats on the new job and the music deal! Wish you the best at your new home.

Your music is amazing
