Just a simple guy. I only contribute music to newgrounds since I have no visual artistic talents whatsoever. My influences come mostly from Vangelis, George Winston, and a heavy dose of electronica and new age.

UPDATE

I've finished up 4 new tracks so far for this project I started a few months back. Down below is where I'll be keeping an updated listing of the track titles.

It's been almost 2 months since I first started serious work on this EP project. I've been extremely pleased with what I've been able to produce so far, although the songs are all completely unfinished. It's nice to have a lot of ideas that have been recorded and laid out so far though, and it helps keep my focus on the task at hand. I thought I'd give a slight rundown on what I have so far, just to give all of you an idea of where my mind is traveling right now.

No Barriers
This track is now finished. I went back to an original piano solo that I wrote for one my recitals back in high school and made into a full production. Drums, strings, synths, and of course, Piano :-D. It's the version I heard in my head when I was just a sophomore, but didn't have the means or skills to turn into anything more then a simple piano performance.

Lullaby
The name pretty much sums this one up. It was written during one of those nights when someone needed a good song to drift away to. It originally had a lot of reverb and space to the piano, but I was advised that i needed to quit hiding behind the massive reverb and let it get a little more intimate. I ended up agreeing.

Prism
This was originally going to be a fully orchestrated version of "Dear World". I had actually started rerecording the melody and everything..and then realized that I was completely ruining the original song by doing so. "Dear World" has gotten such a warm welcome and response by everyone here that it would be incredibly stupid for me to try and touch something that's already been completed. So I wiped everything off of the project except for the opening synth line. From there, I just started adding layers....just layers upon layers..until it finally climaxes and then fades out to the original synth line that started the progression. I fell in love with it. It's one of those "spur of the moment" pieces of music that was literally written and mixed in a little under 5 hours.

Deep Underneath
Don't expect that name to stick. It's just my project file name right now. This track is my chance to not bore everyone with my constant piano playing. It's an electronic piece, much in the style of "Ticking Away" and "Tracing Back". I love playing this one back when I feel like rocking out a little bit, and I'm thinking it'll help break things up a bit with the rest of the EP. It's also helping me brush up on my sequencing skills, and learn a few new tricks with dance music.

Living Transparent
This started out as a random melody that got stuck in my head one day on my way to work. Normally I usually forget them by the time the afternoon as come, but this one just wouldn't go away. Usually at that point, I know it's something worth recording. I tried to make this into a bigger production, but I finally gave into myself and made this one strictly me on the piano. It might end up being a nice closing to the album, sort of a way of saying thanks to everyone and acknowledging my roots.

That's it for today. I hope everyone has been enjoying "Dear World" as much as I have...it finally made the top charts this week and I'm glad it's been giving everyone something to write about. Take care guys
