Just a simple guy. I only contribute music to newgrounds since I have no visual artistic talents whatsoever. My influences come mostly from Vangelis, George Winston, and a heavy dose of electronica and new age.

Well I'm very grateful for last week, and then I sign on today and find that a third song, "Lost" is now on the front of the Audio Portal for this week. I'm really amazed at well this song as done and how many people have responded to it. "Lost" was one of those happy accidents, and it never was intended to be a full song. It was originally just me sitting down at my keyboard and hitting the record button. I'm glad I gave it a chance though, especially now. Thanks again everyone and I'll try my hardest to release something new within the next few weeks.

Wow, I just got up this morning and noticed that TWO of my songs are now listed as top scoring on the front of the audio portal page. Holy crap is that awesome! Well, I've gotta say once again that it's not my doing, but everyone who's voted on all my tracks. Thanks everyone for listening in, and I'll try not to disappoint you with my future submissions.

Well I've got two unfinished tracks on my HD right now. Both are more related to my piano work than the electronica stuff I do sometimes. I'm sort of blocked right now as to how to finish them but hopefully something will pop in my head eventually so I can get the sequencing done on them. For now, I must go clean my apt since the kitchen is beginning to rot. Thanks everyone for listening!

I think it's always funny when I check the ratings on my music one day, and then come back a couple days later and find the scores have dropped significantly on the one or two tracks that were doing good in the genre they're in. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for freedom of expression here and the ability for everybody to make an impact on the content. But seriously, who's the guy/gal who goes down the list of scores in the ambient genre and just 0 bombs the whole list. It would be easy to think it was just some random member who thought it would be funny, but I'm not so sure. Part of me thinks it's a fellow contributor, someone who's a bit obsessed with his or her own scores. Come on people. Can we all grow up a bit and vote honestly on the quality of the music. I laugh to myself whenever I see it happen because while I'm certainly not great by any means, I tend to believe the music I've posted so far is a little better then 0. There's a lot of stuff posted daily on NG that I give 2's and 3's simply for effort. Well, in any case, I just felt the need to get that off my chest. I'm working on some new stuff that will hopefully be ready by the end of this month. Once again I appreciate everyone who has voted, reviewed, and added me to their favorites. That alone keeps me going at times.

I just submitted a new track titled "Tracing Back". It's darker then some of my other stuff, but everyday can't be a happy, feel good day. This had been sitting on my HD for a couple of months, originally as a half-finished trance piece. I loaded it up one day and slowed the tempo down a bit and realized I had it all wrong the entire time. I'm much more satisfied with it now. Thanks to everyone who has given the praise and the votes!

I've got a couple of tracks I keep tinkering with. One is another ambient piano piece that's coming along nicely, but is devoid of any melody. Another is kind of a drum&bass, trance hybrid of sorts. Both of them have been on my hard drive for about a month and a half unfinished.

I'm really loving the instant feedback I'm getting from the music I'm posting so far. For everyone that has listened, downloaded, and voted on my stuff,,,,, Thank YOU!

I've noticed that other audio contributors are naming their tracks with the artist name before the title. I realized how obviously brilliant this is since it instantly puts your name up on the new submissions list. This makes is much more likely someone will remember you if they like the music. So from now on the tracks will have my name before them. I wish I could go back and rename the other tracks without having to delete them and resubmit. Ah well. All is good.

Hey everyone. If you're actually reading this then I congratulate you on being one of few. I'm a newb to the NG universe and I'm just trying to etch a small, microscopic place for myself here. I'm an audio contributor and I welcome you to use anything you see listed here. If you can't find what you're looking for, message me! Let me know! I'll write something for you if I have to. Anything to help you out. Thanks for stopping by and listening. If I happened to make your day any better by my music then my job is done! Peace.
